When it rains it pours. After a rough couple of months for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team Made In Brazil (MIBR) with rapidly declining performances and their coach Ricardo "dead" Sinigaglia being found among those to have abused the observer bug exploit, the organisation decided to part ways with him as well as the players Epitacio "TACO" de Melo and Fernando "fer" Alvarenga. Both Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe and team captain Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo spoke against the decision, with the later requesting to be benched.

"I'm not satisfied with the recent decision. Last weeks have been tough and challenging and that is why I'm asking to leave the active roster while I think on my next steps," said FalleN in a Twitlonger, stating that while he wants to fulfil his contractual obligations, he needed time to reevaluate.

He said: "At this moment, more than ever, I need to be faithful to my values and heart to close this chapter of this beautiful story and, with regard to the fans who never left us, I communicate my insatisfaction with MIBR in front of the decision to completely overhaul the line-up I chose to play for. We enter as a team and as a team we will leave, as we follow day after day side by side, motivated by the real passion for playing. Every morning, we wake up imbued with the mission of overcoming ourselves and seeking to be better."

The owners of MIBR, Immortals Gaming Club have not publically commented on the matter as of time of publishing and it is therefore currently unknown if the organisation will accept FalleN's request.

The Brazilian team had fallen severely in hltv.org's world rankings, currently sitting at #21 after a disappointing couple of months in which they lost to Wisla Krakow (#82 at the time). In the past, the core of this team had won several prestigious tournaments including two majors but had struggled in recent years through several roster iterations to find back to old glory.
