Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is tipping the scales against the other battle royale games on offer thanks to its colourful cast of characters and candy-coated gameplay. Although this looks like a squishy platformer that's easy to master, anyone who has dressed up a bean will know there are many levels of difficulty lurking in the dark underbelly of this happy-looking platformer.

While everyone has their personal favourite when it comes to levels, you'd be hard pushed to find someone who doesn't love sidling along the See Saw course.

As the name suggests, See Saw is a simple premise where beans have to get from one end of the course to the other - navigating a series of moving platforms. The trick here is to make sure you and the fellow players don't get too bunched together. It's a little too easy for this careful balancing act to tip in the wrong direction and send you all tumbling to certain doom. Well, until you respawn.

Even though See Saw should be an easy dash to the finish, we've all been there at the back of the crowd and wondered how on Earth we got it so wrong. When it comes to the first see-saw, most players will pile onto both sides of the platform, meaning it's a fairly even split of balance. If this is the case, it doesn't really matter where you go. After this, keep an eye out for which side has the most beans on and aim for the opposite. It sounds easier than it actually is

In terms of handy hints and tips, the knack is not trying to jump up the ramp if it's tilting. Jumping will usually lead to you falling off-balance and off the see-saw. Believe it or not, beans have a surprisingly good grip and can hold on for longer than you'd think before giving up. The basic rule is to keep running upward for as long as you can. Secondly, jumping from a high height will cause you to stumble.

There will also be times you'll have to work with opponents to tip the scales to a level playing field. Here, it's important that you're the first off the see-saw and onto the next. This gives you the ability to run down the middle and not have to worry about tilting.

The main tip we can offer when it comes to See Saw is dive, don't jump. Jumping can be a tricky mechanic in Fall Guys, but if you dive, your bean is more likely to get on their feet a lot quicker. Given that you can see that whole map stretching out in front of you, you'll need to be savvy and think ahead. Map out the course and pick the route less travelled.

Finally, it's definitely not a case of slow and steady wins the race. Pausing too long will cause the scales to tip in a certain direction as more players join you on this perilous journey. Unsurprisingly, getting ahead of the pack is key.

Stats suggest it's 200% easier to qualify on See Saw if you spawn on the front row. Some disgruntled players have suggested introducing a mechanic where the platforms tilt of their own according, making it much more of a skill game. For the time being though, it's just another case of hoping the odds are forever in your favour.
