Mediatonic is gathering its royal court of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout beans as the Medieval-themed Season 2 is ready for a perilous quest. Following in the squishy footsteps of Season 1 making its mark on the party game scene (move over Mario Party), developers have set the bar high and are preparing to scale the castle walls with even more levels, skins, and obstacles.

If being yeeted off the course by Thicc Bonkus or trying out new levels like Knight Fever weren't enough, the game has built its own walk-in wardrobe of outfit choices that range from goblins to knights, witches to damsels. With so much coming to Fall Guys Season 2, players are rightly asking how much it's going to set them back.

How much will Fall Guys Season 2 cost?

Although Fall Guys was originally free at launch as part of the PlayStation Plus subscription service, Steam players already had to part with their hard-earned cash to play Season 1. Elsewhere, Fall Guys was only free on PS Plus for the month of August, so everyone has been paying throughout September and the start of October.

When it comes to Season 2, Fall Guys is expected to keep its current pricing plan. This means it will cost Β£15.99 ($19.99) on Steam and PS4. There have already been teases that Fall Guys could come to Xbox, while Bilibili has secured the rights to a mobile version in China. Mediatonic has also expressed an interest in porting the game to the Nintendo Switch, but for the time being, we're limited to just two platforms.

How much is the Fall Guys Season 2 battle pass?

Unlike games including Fortnite, the Fall Guys season pass/battle pass was free in Season 1 and is expected to follow suit in Season 2. Season 1 had 40 tiers and a slew of rewards available to unlock. Everything is resetting in Season 2, meaning there's hopefully another 40 levels to climb through.

Kudos and Crowns will remain as Fall Guys' in-game currency, however, the highest level items will only be unlocked by spending crowns. As usual, they can be bought through microtransactions for those who aren't the best at being the last bean standing but still want to dress in the finest skins.

Mediatonic has hinted that there will be more chances to earn reward crowns in Season 2, so don't go spending them all at once.

With the usual rollover of skins and levels alongside so many new additions, it's clear a lot is being crammed into the Medieval might of the next season. Is it enough to keep existing players hooked and lure in new ones to keep Fall Guys ticking along? Either way, it looks like Fall Guys Season 2 is giving us plenty of bang for our buck.
