Get ready to throw your mouse/controller at the screen because Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has introduced a frustrating new level. With some of us having already got to grips with "Jump Showdown" in the game's beta, they'll already know what a challenge this one is.

Posting on Twitter, the official Fall Guys account confirmed "Jump Showdown" will be going live from August 12. The basic idea is to duck and jump over rotating arms. While that sounds tricky enough, the game area will continue to shrink as the floor starts to drop away. Can you climb to the top, or will you be tumbling to certain doom and disqualification?

Despite the overwhelming response to Fall Guys, there have been critiques that it isn't running as well as it could be. Mediatonic also gave an update on where some of the niggles are up to by promising the title has "lowered the weighting for Royal Fumble to add more final round variation", "fixed crash at launch with certain regional calendars set in the operating system", and a fix for "parties sometimes failing due to too many requests".

There's no escaping the popularity of Mediatonic's colourful cartoon brawler, with Fall Guys being downloaded a jaw-dropping 2,000,000 times in its first seven days on Steam. Given that this doesn't include Fall Guy's downloads on PlayStation 4. The latest news confirms Mediatonic isn't sitting on its laurels when it comes to Fall Guys. Either way, a new Fall Guys level is just the start of what's to come.
