Faker Becomes First League Of Legends Player To Play 600 LCK Games
The unkillable demon continues to smash League of Legends records eight years after making his first appearance. Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok has been elevated into a class of his own in the history of LoL, and as he approaches his 25th birthday, the South Korean legend has become the first player to ever make 600 LCK appearances.
The milestone was toppled in T1's victory over NS RedForce, with Faker opting for Orianna in a typically crushing victory. Finishing the decisive games one and three with a ten and eight 10 KDA ratio respectively, Faker's dominance was encapsulated in just the three matches which saw him reach the 600th appearance just as he started the first one back in 2013.
Despite currently falling out of favour at T1, with promising young midlaner Lee "Clozer" Ju-hyeon coming in to make Faker's appearances much more sporadic, the 'greatest League of Legends player of all time' has continued to show why he's worthy of such title.
With two world championships to his name over the eight-year spell as T1, his 600th appearance goes to show just how great Faker has been, consistently dropping into summoners rift year upon year and maintaining such inordinate standards.

Outside of the LCK, including Worlds events, the Asian Games, and other ad-hoc competitions, Faker is currently heading towards his 900th competitive fixture, currently sat on 877.
In the 877 games, Faker remains on a colossal 4.42 KDA ratio, having notched up 3341 eliminations and 4710 assists.
With his role at T1 becoming under threat, many have queried whether he will soon be passing the baton down to Closer and help mould the young spartan into his shadow, or whether he will step into a new light at another organisation. Either way, his influence has been astronomical, and we haven't seen the end of Faker yet, with the milestone of 750 games surely in the back of his mind.
