Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has officially landed, and players have begun to head into multiplayer for a first taste at the multiplayer experience. With 20 to choose from, split into five categories, let’s take a further look at every available Black Ops Cold War primary weapon.

Assault Rifles

XM4

Full-auto assault rifle. Reliable damage with improved fire rate. Fair weapon control when sustaining light fire.

AK-47

Full-auto assault rifle. High damage with a marginally slower fire rate. Excellent stopping power for mid-range encounters (Unlocked at Level 7)

KRIG-6

Full-auto assault rifle. Improved damage and accuracy, excellent weapon control and visibility when sustaining fire. (Unlocked at Level 16)

QBZ-3 

Full-auto assault rifle. Superior mobility with improved handling speeds. Erratic initial recoil with less accurate hipfire speed. (Unlocked at Level 31)

FFAR 1

Full-auto assault rifle. Fast fire rate with quick reloading speeds. Modest damage slightly less ammo capacity (Unlocked at Level 40)

Submachine Guns

MP5

Full-auto submachine gun. Fast fire rate with low recoil, good visibility and control when firing.

MILANO 821

Full-auto submachine gun. High damage with a slower fire rate and fair recoil. Improved handling speeds with more accurate hit fire speed. (Unlocked at Level 13)

AK-74u

Full-auto submachine gun. Improved damage with reliable weapon control. Utilises 5.45mm ammo for superior bullet velocity. (Unlocked at Level 19)

KSP 45

3-round burst submachine gun. High damage with moderate range. Burst fire spread is less efficient at long range (Unlocked at Level 37)

BULLFROG

Full-auto submachine gun. Reliable damage with improved range. Large ammo pool and less accurate hitfire spread. (Unlocked at Level 43)

Tactical Rifles 

TYPE 63

Semi-automatic tactical rifle. High damage and reliable accuracy with lower ammo capacity. Fair visibility and control while firing.

M16

Burst fire tactical rifle. Excellent burst fire accuracy when aiming down sights. Good visibility while firing with a slightly pronounced delay between bursts. (Unlocked at Level 10) 

AUG

Burst fire tactical rifle. High damage with moderate recoil and slower movement speeds while firing. Built-in optic provides 1.5x magnification. (Unlocked at Level 28)

DMR 14

Semi-automatic tactical rifle. Increased fire rate with minimal recoil, maintains reliable damage over longer range encounters. (Unlocked at Level 49)

SNIPER RIFLES

PELLINGTON 703

Bolt-action sniper rifle. Hand-loaded with improved handling speeds and faster rechamber. 1-shot kill to the head or chest.

LW3 - TUNDRA

Bolt- action sniper rifle. High damage with moderate sway. One-shot kill to the head, chest or shoulders. Hold L3 while ADS to steady. (Unlocked at Level 25)

M82 

Semi-auto sniper rifle. Heavy recoil with slow handling. One-shot kill to the head or upper chest. Hold L3 while ADS to steady. (Unlocked at Level 55)

LMG

STONER 63

Full-auto light machine gun. Improved fire rate with a large ammo capacity. Good recoil control and visibility when sustaining fire.

RPD

Fully auto light machine gun. Reliable stopping power with superior handling and movement speeds. (Unlocked at Level 22)

M60 

Fully-auto light machine gun. Consistent ammo capacity with heavy grain rounds provides premium stopping power and bullet economy. Slower fire rate and handling speeds. (Unlocked at Level 46)
