ESL GGFORALL Circuit Revealed for 2022
The initiative includes a massive series of events within CS:GO, which boasts an impressive $500,000 prize pool throughout the calendar year. The GGFORALL CS:GO Circuit will feature Regional Leagues throughout the year, which will be topped off with an offline LAN Finals in November.
Live events will also be played out throughout the summer, as both DreamHack Dallas (Planned for June), and DreamHack Valencia (Planned for July), will host a League Finals and showcase event respectively.
Alongside the circuit, ESL will also be launching a "player council" in which the female professionals will be able to directly provide feedback to the TOs, and other figures within the female CS:GO community.
ESL Hoping To Create 'More Visibility' With GGFORALL Circuit
ESL has claimed that their GGFORALL Circuit is designed to help aspiring women professionals to achieve their dreams and continue creating visibility in comparison to their male counterparts.
Roberta Hernandez, ESL Gaming’s Senior Vice President of People and Culture, said, "By providing an infrastructure equal to their male counterparts, we are thrilled to create more visibility and opportunities for women in the esports space, as well as to support them in their professional development and to help make their dreams come true.
"This is only the first part of a number of #GGFORALL initiatives we are currently working on and we can’t wait to tell you more about what is yet to come."
The annual circuit comes just a matter of weeks after Riot Games unveiled their year-round VALORANT circuit which will also feature a Game Changers series ending with a world finals, similarly to the all-gender events.
