More AAA titles!

15:00, 25 May 2020

The Epic Games Store is giving away one free game a week for the whole of 2020, no purchase necessary! PC players can add the game to their library, and never part with their cash.

GTA V was free via the Epic Games Store from May 14 to May 21, and even crashed the platform due to the sheer amount of people trying to get their hands on the title.

The current game available for free download is Civilisation VI, until May 28.

Civilisation VI, affectionately known as Civ 6, is a turn-based strategy game, developing and growing your own civilisation to overtake the world, against an AI opponent. Gather resources, build armies, and improve your cultural, technological and political development.

So what games are next?

Epic hasn’t been stingy with their giveaways, offering AAA titles for free such as Just Cause 4, Watch Dogs, and World War Z in the past few months.

Thanks to an eagle-eyed Redditor, who spied the Epic Games images and dates before they were taken down on the Store, the next games are rumoured to be;

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (May 28 to June 4)

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection includes Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre Sequel, both with remastered graphics. Both are action RPG’s, from a first-person perspective, and can be played co-op. Survival is key in this action-adventure game. Set up your base, hunt and tame the prehistoric creatures who roam the earth, and stay alive, all while making technological and weaponry advancements. Play alone PVE-style, join a clan or go it alone in a PVP atmosphere.
