No matter where you are and how old you are, chances are you have a nemesis. Batman has the Joker, Bette Davis had Joan Crawford, James Bond has Blofeld, and in the world of gaming, Jordan "HusKerrs" Thomas has Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff. Looking at the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you might think Thor's enemy is the same as the rest of the Avengers - with them all sharing a hatred of Thanos. However, if Avengers: Endgame taught us anything, it's that Thor's real enemy its "N00bmaster69".

Heading back to the record-breaking Endgame, fans might remember the God of Thunder was still reeling from the loss of his comrades (and half the population) when he didn't "aim for the head". A depressed Thor was hanging out in New Asgard, where he spent his days eating junk food, swilling beer, and apparently playing Fortnite with Korg and Miek. The fan-favourite Kronan was getting some grief from "N00bmaster69", however, Thor stepped up to give the internet troll a stark warning

How did Xbox reveal Endgame's N00bmaster69?

Endgame left us with plenty of burning questions like where has new Gamora gone, will we ever see Iron Man again, and where are the X-Men during all of this? For some, the secret identity of N00bmaster69 was a cliffhanger, with wild theorists even guessing it could be Loki trolling his brother. Now, an Xbox Game Pass advert to promote the upcoming release of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has given us the scoop.

Hoping to follow in the footsteps of WandaVisionThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier sees Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson spread his wings alongside Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes. In the commercial, Sam is playing games on the Xbox Game Pass and seen taking part in a car chase on Forza.

There's a familiar face in the ad, with comedian D.C. Pierson reprising his role as the Apple Store employee from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Although Pierson's Aaron only had a minor role in the movie, he's much more important to the MCU because fact he's actually Noobmaster69. Pierson appears alongside Mackie in the generic promo for the Xbox Game Pass and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but the N00bmaster69 twist is on a par with one of the MCU's big reveals.

Will we see more of Endgame's N00bmaster69 thanks to Xbox?

With The Falcon and the Winter Soldier just around the corner, fans can't wait to see Mackie and Stan back in action as the Captain America spin-offs. As well as charting a new era of the MCU on the small screen, we hopefully find out who gets to pick up Cap's iconic shield after Chris Evans' Steve Rogers bowed out alongside Endgame. The question is, will N00bmaster69 also appear further down the line? We know the MCU leaves nothing to chance, while the N00bmaster69 reveal is one that no one expected.

Having Aaron appear in a weird Xbox/Disney+ crossover might be an unusual way to reveal N00bmaster's identity, but to be honest, we're here for it. Fans know Taika Waititi is working on Thor: Love and Thunder to bring back Chris Hemsworth's titular Avenger alongside Korg and Miek. While Christian Bale is expected to play the movie's big bad, who wouldn't want to see Pierson back as N00bmaster69 to face-off against Thor and co. in an epic match of Fortnite? You see, this stuff writes itself.
