A Twitter user has shared an advertisement from Craigslist - featuring an elderly couple who are looking for a kind soul and knowledgeable gamer to help them out with the latest PS4 games. In particular, they want to know how to beat the apocalypse in The Last Of Us Part II.

The post has already been flooded with a number of players offering to travel out to the couple's home, and even provide their services for free. Elsewhere, one The Last Of Us cast member has also expressed their enthusiasm to give them a hand.

Who Are The Elderly Couple Looking For?

In the ad, the elderly The Last Of Us Part II player said: "My husband and I (Senior Citizens) need a personal tutor to come to our home and to teach us how to play PS4 games – particularly The Last Of Us Part II – which we are having trouble with.” they want on to say: “Need a person that knows the games and how to work the controller. We need someone who is patient and can teach without judging us, without getting frustrated or irritated for 2-3 hours. We want to enjoy this diversion."

The couple asked for a tutor who, like them, is fully vaccinated against Coronavirus and that "references would be a plus". The ideal candidate would be within travelling distance of the couple's home in South San Jose in California.

Who Has Offered To Help With The Last Of Us Part II?

The ad was shared by Gene Park via Twitter on September 26 and has received an overwhelming number of comments from gamers. Many were sad that they wouldn't be able to easily travel to the couple. Nonetheless, they would have loved to have provided their services to the senior citizens for free. This included actress Shannon Woodward, who provided the motion capture and voice for Ellie's girlfriend, Dina, in The Last Of Us Part II: "I will literally do this".

Whoever the elder Last Of Us fans are, they certainly aren't the first members of the older generation to be traversing the world of video games. Who remembers Shirley Curry, the 85-year-old Skyrim grandmother and TacticalGramma who went viral for her incredible sniper skills in Call Of Duty: Warzone.

If rumours are to be believed, the couple might be battling it out on a battle royale multiplayer mode of The Last Of Us Part II. Here's hoping two senior gamers have found their very own The Last Of Us fan to help guide them through the emotional rollercoaster that awaits them.
