Ahead of the Elden Ring closed network test, which is starting soon, lucky fans who've got codes have begun selling them on eBay for a high price.

Elden Ring Fans Are Selling Their Closed Network Test Keys

The closed network test is set to begin on November 12, but several of the lucky players who've got their codes have already sold them on eBay for as much as $350. Around a dozen have already been sold for prices exceeding $200, which is higher than the Collector's Edition that has just been unveiled last week.

The application period for the network test has already ended, so any players wanting to take part will now have to find an extra key somehow or pay the scalpers' high prices.

When Is The Closed Network Test?

Bandai Namco have explained the network test as a chance where "Selected fans will be able to experience the opening hours of the long-awaited title to get a hands-on glimpse at what the full game will have to offer while assisting the development team in testing the game’s online servers ahead of its release date.”

It will take place over three days, starting this Friday, November 12. It will allow those with access to play during set three-hour sessions, which will occur at:

  • November 12 - 3 AM PT/11 AM GMT
  • November 12 - 7PM PT/3 AM GMT
  • November 13 - 11 AM PT/7 PM GMT
  • November 14 - 3 AM PT/11 AM GMT
  • November 14 - 7 PM PT/3AM GMT

So far Elden Ring is shaping up to be a promising JRPG experience. The longest gameplay showcase yet was revealed last week, where we got 15 minutes of exciting new footage. The title was also recently victim to a small delay, but it's still set to release on February 25, 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and select PC storefronts.
