Dota 2 fans can rejoice, as the Fall Season of 2020 is fully underway, and with it comes changes to the Guilds and Dota Plus subscriptions amongst other features.

The new season will run until December 2020 where Christmas will take over with an abundance of snow and festivities, however players will be able to get their spook on this fall, and grind back through the ranks with an MMR reset.

Dota 2 Fall Season Guild System

Valve has introduced changes to the Guilds, removing the levels. Instead, they will introduce a leaderboard that will feature the total Guild points earned in a given region. After each week, Guild members will receive a new rank and can collect the fruits for their labour, a barrel load of shards.

Dota Plus subscribers will earn double shards too. The higher the guild position, the better perks you will have access to. Rewards are as follows:

  • 0-24th Percentile - Bronze Tier
  • 25th-49th Percentile - Silver Tier. 250 Shards per month and three Guild Emoticons.
  • 50th-74th Percentile - Gold Tier. 500 Shards per months, three Guild Sprays, and the three silver Guild Emoticons.
  • 75th Percentile and higher - Platinum Tier. 750 Shards per month, three Caster Wheels, the three gold Guild Sprays, and the three Guild Emoticons

Dota 2 Guilds will lose one per cent of their guild points each week to help those that are struggling to keep up. Contracts will now earn both points for yourself and the guild. Every player will have access to one contract per day.

Dota Plus Subscription Changes

Dota Plus subscribers will be heavily rewarded this fall. With many more quests and new ways to earn shards, the subscribers can now also purchase a new treasure containing 12 community-created sets for various heroes. The Autumnal Treasure set contains skins for Nyx Assassin, Leshrac, Medusa, Vengeful Spirit, Weaver, Clockwerk, Faceless Void, Doom, Sven, Axe, Crystal Maiden, and Tusk.

Subscribers will also be able to access the Role Assistant Window which will automatically calculate which roles heroes are being played during ranked games. This can also be filtered per rank, giving you a better understanding of which hero to use.

The Fall Season is now in full spring, so make sure you dive in and take full control.
