Here's some welcome news for everyone who wanted to wait until Cyberpunk 2077 got a bit cheaper before they parted with their hard-earned cash - it's already available for half-price.

The Gamer reports that Amazon and Best Buy have both cut the price of Cyberpunk 2077 to $29.99. A far cry from the original price of almost $60. Although it appears that these deals are only available in the USA. Another caveat is that this deal only applies to physical copies of the game, rather than digital.

According to reports, you need to act fast as there is no indication to how long the deal will last, but it is a sad insight into how the game may be affected by the bad reviews and reports regarding gameplay and bugs.

This comes after CD Projekt Red released an apology video regarding the problems that gamers have faced since the launch. They also announced that the DLC has been delayed until the second half of 2021. They captioned their Tweet: "Dear gamers. Below, you’ll find CD PROJEKT’s co-founder’s personal explanation of what the days leading up to the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 looked like, sharing the studio’s perspective on what happened with the game on old-generation consoles."

They also added a roadmap, which showed the DLC's delay. In the video apology from studio co-founder Marcin Iwinski, he said: “We’re aiming for the second half of the year, and we’ll reveal more when we have more to share."
