Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is rolling out the big guns with Flashpoint 2. B Site just dropped the first info on Flashpoint 2, which will take place next month out of a studio in London. This will be the second tournament from the team-owned Counter-Strike favourite. According to sources, Flashpoint 2 will play out online from November 9 to December 6. 12 teams will duke it out for a share of the $1 million prize pool.

There's huge news as seven of the eight founding members will return for Flashpoint 2. Unfortunately, FunPlus Phoenix is sitting this one out due to reasons unknown. Partner teams will play alongside three invitees who must rank in the top 20, as well as two sides coming from open qualifiers.

In a statement (via HLTV), commissioner Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles said, "We’re dramatically improving the levels of both the competition and broadcast production for Flashpoint 2. We’re eager to give our fans a raw and unfiltered CS:GO tournament series while still taking necessary precautions to keep players safe".

With the coronavirus pandemic rocking the esports world, Flashpoint 2's remote team will be led by creative director Duncan "Thorin" Shields and commissioner MonteCristo. It's sure to be a must-watch event for CS:GO fans around the globe.
