New York Subliners have reunited Beauty and the Beast (although we don't know which is which), after capturing the signature of Ian "Crimsix" Porter, the long-time duo of NYSL star James "Clayster" Eubanks.

Crimsix departed Dallas Empire following their third-place finish at the CDL 2021 World Championships, as a pending merger between Envy and OpTic Chicago rumours began to surface.

With a return to the Green Wall off the cards after years of burning bridges, Crimsix has now opted to sign with the Big Apple's CDL team, alongside Clayster, Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez, and Travis "Neptune" McCloud.

The most winningest player in Call of Duty history will now look to continue his path to greatness alongside Clayster, both of who reside in an elite "Three Rings" club alongside Damon "Karma" Barlow - the only three players to have won three World Championships.

After signing for the Subliners, Crimsix, also referred to as C6, took to Twitter to say, "Proud to represent the city of New York with these fine gentlemen. Goals have been set, limits begin where vision ends. Let’s do something incredible, Subliners."

Subliners recently also bagged Neptune from Florida Mutineers, after a stellar breakout season in Black Ops Cold War. After proving that his rookie status was nothing but a tag, showing incredible intelligence and raw gun skills, Neptune will look to complete a heavyweight line-up and become a hugely rampant force alongside the French Phenom, HyDra.

Together, the Subliners now boast the two most experienced Assault Rifle players in the game's history, alongside two of the most promising SMG slayers. A recipe for success, if they can find the right cohesion - especially without the presence of a dedicated Flex role.

One thing is for certain though, if this team can gel, Crimsix and Clayster will have no problems in seeing the team through any closely contested games.

Will a fourth ring be on the cards in nine months? Exciting times lie ahead for New York.
