Over the course of Call of Duty history, two dynasties have been cemented as the two best teams of all time: compLexity and OpTic Gaming. Both sides eclipsed their opponents time after time to take home over 15 major trophies each, leaving debate as to which side was truly the greatest ever.

Over the years the two sides have attempted to reignite the rivalry through a series of throwback events, although they've often stumbled across the stumbling block of Ian "Crimsix" Porter - who was a household name on both rosters in their respective reigns.

In the latest saga of Call of Duty muscle-flexing, OpTic Gaming's predeceasing Chicago Huntsmen roster met the coL dynasty remake, as the revived franchise went head-to-head with the greats on one of the battlegrounds of CoD Esports' birth: Black Ops 2.

After taking over the OpTic core following the franchised CDL format, Chicago Huntsmen reunited to take down the coL dynasty, in Hitch "Hitcariide" Davis' $15,000 charity Black Ops 2 throwback, taking home the bragging rights to the Green Wall.

The reunited quarte of Alec "Arcitys" Sanderson, Preston "Prestinni" Sanderson, Dylan "Envoy" Hannon, and Peirce "Gunless" Hillman represented the retired Huntsmen brand once again, in a series of maps such as Yemen Hardpoint, Standoff Search and Destroy, and Raid.

Despite being four of the best players ever, Crimsix, James "Clayster" Eubanks, Tyler "TeePee" Polchow, and Patrick "Aches" Price, were run over by the Huntsmen, keen to find their mark on a wilder-beast. With a few straight arrows from the Huntsmen's bow, the coL dynasty was slaughtered 6-0, although their reputation will never falter.

Hitchariide and the Team SummerTime crew ended up raising a colossal $42,000 for Men's Health and Suicide Awareness, adding to their ever-growing list of charity fundraisers. Recently, Hitch hosted a Seth "Scump" Abner vs Matthew "FormaL" Piper B02 throwback event, which raised north of $60,000.

Last year, Hitch hosted a wealth of throwbacks, meaning it's likely these community events won't be ending with the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard later this week. Maybe we'll see another col vs opTic hoedown throwdown soon.
