The CDL 2022 transfer season is upon us, as the franchised super league is getting ever more competitive. As times look to catch up to 2021 World Champions, Atlanta FaZe, a range of transfers are being, with the large majority of sides expected to chop and change their stars.

As the CDL 2022 transfer period enters full swing, entering the Call of Duty: Vanguard era, teams have already been busy in the market, with nine out of 12 teams making changes to their starting quartet.

Fresh new rookies, the formation of more super squads, potential ground-breaking mergers, and even entire new organisations - this CDL 2022 transfer season is set to be one of the busiest and most shocking off-seasons yet.

Bonjour: Paris Legion announce the signing of their entire team, as Decemate, FeLo, John, and Temp complete their first all non-EU roster.

November 9

Brothers In Arms: Prestinni signs as the official substitute for Atlanta FaZe, reuniting himself alongside his brother Arcitys for the first time since the latter half of the Chicago Huntsmen reign.

November 4

Pre-Season Benchings: The first pre-season roster casualty occurs, as Flordia Mutineers sign Vivid as the Washington Demon Cats proposed lineup falls through. Vivid replaces Havoc in the starting four with Yeez staying as the sub.

October 29

Cheen Machine Retires: After finding himself without a pro team in 2022, Cheen retires from Call of Duty esports and switches to Warzone.

October 22

Four Rings And A Big Apple: Crimsix reunites with Clayster by signing for the New York Subliners - finishing off their four-man makeup.

October 21

King Neptune: Neptune signs for New York Subliners after a stellar rookie season.

October 20

Clayster Cemented: Clayster pledges his future to New York Subliners

October 16

AquA Retires: Ulysses "AquA" Silva retired from Call of Duty esports. Having last represented Paris Legion in the CDL 2021 season, AquA has officially retired.

October 8

Revan Returns: Revan returns to the New York Subliners as their Head Coach for the 2022 season, despite leaving the organisation just two months earlier.

FeLo Flies: Stage 3 stand-in for Dallas Empire,  Tyler "FeLo" Johnson, leaves the franchise after being moved to the subs bench in Stage 4.

October 6

Davpadie Arrives: Florida Mutineers confirm the signing of rookie Davpadie for the CDL 2022 season, moving him straight into the starting roster.

Neptune: Neptune officially leaves Florida Mutineers after his breakout season, ahead of his rumoured transfer to New York. 

October 4

Apathy Calls It Quits: As one of the greatest SMG players ever, Brian "Apathy" Zhelyazkov officially retires. He quits Call of Duty esports as a two-time world champion.

September 20

A New Wave - Seattle Surge confirm the signings of Accuracy, Mack, Pred, and Sib, as they solidify their CDL 2022 squad.

September 17

Mack Melts Away: New York Subliners confirm that Mack will be leaving the organisation ahead of a proposed move to Seattle Surge.

September 14

RØKKR Rocks: Minnesota ROKKR announce their CDL 2022 roster will remain the same. Attach, MajorManiak, Priestahh, and Standy re-sign. 

September 10

The Prince of Thieves: Envoy makes his move to LA Thieves, rounding off their CDL 2022 squad.

September 9

Octane Saved: The human turret, Octane, signs with LA Thieves as their main AR, confirming his move from Seattle Surge.

September 6

LAG or SWAG?: Los Angeles Guerrillas reveal the ultimate glow-up, signing Asim, Gunless, Huke, and SlasheR.

September 1

Thieves Released: LA Thieves become yet another organisation to produce a squad wipe, releasing John, SlasheR, Thomas "TJHaly" Haly, and Carlos "Venom" Hernandez.

August 29

Diamond-gone: New York Subliners reveal their trusted stand-in, Conor "Diamoncon" Johst is leaving. 

Squad Wipe 2: Los Angeles Guerrillas nuke their roster. Justin "SiLLy" Fargo-Palmer, Adam "Assault" Garcia, Billy "MentaL" Putnam and Apathy all leave.

LAG also relieve their academy team, consisting of Martin "Cheen" Chino, Dylan "Nero" Koch, Chance "Maux" Moncivaez, and Kaden "Exceed" Stockdale.

Fly Ravens, Fly: London Royal Ravens release the majority of their roster. Sean "Seany" O'Connor, Alex "Alexx" Carpenter, Zack "Zed" Denyer, and Paul "PaulEhx" Avila leave, alongside Coach Shane "ShAnE" McKerral.

New Methodz: Toronto Ultra's 2021 substitute, Anthony "Methodz" Zinni, announces he is a free agent for the upcoming season.

August 28

"You Was The Chosen One": Envoy is surprisingly removed from OpTic Chicago, despite being the Green Wall's hopeful successor to Scump.

Farewell, FormaL: Matthew "FormaL" Piper retires from Call of Duty esports - one of the greatest players to ever compete.

TJHaLy Out: TJHaly reveals that he will not be competing for LA Thieves in the CDL 2022 season.

August 27

Au Reviour: Paris Legion waves goodbye to their roster of AquA, Alex "Zaptius" Bonilla, Donovan "Temp" Laroda, and Matthew "Skrapz" Marshall.

Cya C6: Crimsix and Vivid are removed from Dallas Empire.

August 21

Surge Purge: Seattle Surge open the CDL 2022 off-season with the release of their entire roster. Nicholas "Classic" DiCostanzo, Preston "Prestinni" Sanderson, Octane, and Gunless leave, alongside substitute Loony and Coach Joey "Nubzy" DiGiacomo
