CDL Championships Sunday Will Give Away 25,000 Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta Keys
The Call of Duty League often rewards its viewers with tidy in-game collectables and rewards for tuning in to watch your favourite teams compete. As the league reaches its climax at the CDL World Championships 2021, the league has now revealed that a range of great prizes will become available throughout the weekend, including 25,000 Call of Duty: Vanguard beta keys.
The worldwide reveal of Vanguard commenced just an hour before the championships kicked off, through an in-game event in Warzone. The trailer that followed showcased a range of new multiplayer experiences alongside confirming a variety of new content coming to Warzone, including an anti-cheat software - finally.
Players will be given their first taste of the new Vanguard ordeals through a beta run, before its November 5 launch, as Sledgehammer look to refine any bugs and imbalances before the full launch. The devs have now confirmed that codes for the Beta run will become available through the Call of Duty League World Championships finals.
Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta Keys On Offer At CDL Champs
As the two best teams in the entire CDL lock horns in the World Championships Grand Final on Sunday, August 22, Sledgehammer Games will be on call to drop 25,000 randomised beta keys into the chat, allowing a mass audience to get their hands on the early access.
According to the official Call of Duty League website, tuning into the broadcast at 11:30am PT (19:30 BST), the devs will be sprinkling beta codes through to random viewers who have entered the draw. Fans will be automatically enrolled into the draw by linking their Activision accounts to their YouTube log-in and tuning into the mainstream.
Winners will be notified through the CDL website or Companions App. The date for the beta has yet to be revealed, although it is expected to be in late September or early October.
CDL Champs XM4 Blueprint Available In Viewership Rewards
Amongst the randomised Vanguard Beta keys, all viewers will be allowed to rack up a range of rewards, including an exclusive XM4 blueprint.
The Champs XM4 blueprint is currently available in Warzone as a gold-tier weapon that comes out of Legendary boxes.
In addition to the blueprint, viewers can get a range of double XP tokens, Calling Cards, a 2021 Champs ring, emblems, and specific stickers tailored towards CDL players who have featured in the league since the release of the personalised signature stickers were released.
Eli "Standy" Bentz of Minnesota Rokkr, Donovan "Temp" Laroda and Alex "Zaptius" Bonilla of Paris Legion, Cuyler "Huke" Garland and Carlos "Venom" Hernandez of LA Thieves, Reece "Vivid" Drost of Dallas Empire, Nicholas "Classic" DiCostanzo of Seattle Surge, and Zach "Zed" Denyer, Paul "PaulEhx" Avila, and Shane "ShAnE" McKerral will all have stickers available to be earnt through the viewership rewards.
With the first day of Champs throwing up some intense performances between OpTic Chicago and New York Subliners, the epitome of Call of Duty is providing much more entertainment than originally bargained for, on top of easy to earn rewards.
