The wait is over, as the brand-new Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera map has finally been revealed. We've known a tropical revamp was on the way to replace Verdansk, but now, we know what that looks like.

Call Of Duty: Warzone Caldera Map - What Does It Look Like?

As shared on Twitter by @ModernWarzone, the new Warzone Caldera map looks very different to the classic Verdansk and '80s-themed Verdansk '84. It might be sad that we're waving goodbye to Verdansk for the final time, but change was always inevitable.

There are plenty of POIs to unpick. Resort suggests some sort of holiday getaway that you probably wouldn't want to visit on your honeymoon thanks to the bullets, while Sub Pen sounds like an exciting locale packed with warhead-filled submarines.

Despite worries that Caldera will be much smaller than Verdansk, players seem pretty happy with the first real look at the map - which has players and critics alike pretty impressed. One wrote, "Ah yes what a beautiful map," but another added, "Careful, don’t overhype this like vanguard was overhyped."

There were the usual complaints of "dead game", but we'll have to wait and see whether the new Caldera map lives up to its potential of being a long-awaited Verdansk replacement.
