The Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer maps see players waddling around a wide variety of war-torn locations from across the world in the fight to find their foes. However, one thing they probably didn't expect to come across was one rather unusual Easter egg.

Of course, this isn't the only Easter egg that has been puzzling players in Call Of Duty: VanguardThe location of the Der Anfang Easter egg has been leaving Zombies players feeling utterly baffled, but you can find out even more about it here

However, fans playing in Vanguard Multiplayer have noticed a reoccurring, and rather random, item makes an appearance in the game's maps. This has led many to wonder whether it could be some form of Easter egg. If so, what could it possibly mean?

What Is The Vanguard Rubber Duck Easter Egg?

Some Vanguard Multiplayer participants could play the whole game without coming across the little rubber duckies. However, some sharp-shooters have come across at least one of the bathtub buddies in seven of the multiplayer maps. So far, they have been found hiding away in Numa Numa, Tuscan, Dome, Hotel Royal, Bocage, Decoy, and Das Haus.

The rubber ducks may seem like a bit of a random item to come across in a shooter game set in World War Two. So, it's unlikely that Sledgehammer Games have popped the little yellow waterfowls in the game randomly. No, chances are they may all be interlinked as part of an Easter egg. Yet, just exactly what they are there for is a mystery.

What Do The Vanguard Rubber Duck Easter Eggs Mean?

What the rubber ducks mean is still baffling many Vanguard players. However, one YouTuber, Geeky Pastimes, has vowed to get to the bottom of it once and for all. After already finding seven of them spread across seven of Vanguard's 16 multiplayer maps, Geeky Pastimes has said that he will continue to look for the rubber ducks and try to find out exactly what they mean.

Geeky Pastimes went on to encourage other Vanguard players to join in with his quest. Although, he said that finding all the Easter eggs probably won't lead to players receiving a prize of some sort. Yet, that might change once he finds them all. Be careful though, players could spend a long time wandering around the maps trying to find the ducks but to no avail, because they can be moved by any explosions or if they get shot.

We know that Captain America and Indiana Jones skins may soon be coming to Vanguard, but, perhaps, by finding all these rubber ducks, players could be running around in a quacking new bright yellow skin. Anyone with one of these along with their Atomic camo skins, courtesy of a glitch in the game, would make one epic outfit for any player.
