Call Of Duty Season 6 Confirms The Return Of The OG Gulag
If if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The roadmap for Call of Duty Season 6 confirms that the OG Gulag will be back in action. The end is nigh, and with Verdansk about to be blown up (again), there's something familiar about this last chance saloon.
Why is the OG Gulag coming back?
Posting on Twitter, the official Call of Duty account confirms the original Gulag is back. Once you're downed for the first time in a match, you'll wake up in this haunting locale - pitched against a single rival as you both fight to get back in the game.
As a revamped version of 2019's Gulag, there's a splash of the Modern Warfare Gunfight map variant, and just a little bit that's new. Still, the 1v1 combat remains the same.
When is Season 6 out?
We've already covered the return of Alex Mason and what's on the way with this year's Haunting event, but it looks like there's plenty more to keep us busy.
Even as we make way for the imminent arrival of Vanguard - with Verdansk being replaced by a WWII-themed map - CoD is doing its best to prove there's a little more in the tank.
Expect the showdown to end all showdowns when Season 6 shoots up the FPS scene on October 7.
