Call Of Duty Pros Outrage At Slide Cancel And Field Upgrades In Vanguard
Call of Duty: Vanguard has some professional players quaking in their trench boots, as the upcoming title has been pieced together with leaks that will directly effect the elite players.
Whilst Warzone poses as the leagues biggest threat according to James "Clayster" Eubanks, the development of the competitive side of Vanguard is just as vital, especially as the viewership numbers continue to dwindle.
However, with a WWII-esque game that has Seth "Scump" Abner fearing the worst, many other pros are also left concerned following a range of new leaks.

The Modern Warfare engine appears to be matched with the Black Ops Cold War graphics palette, whilst Tactical Sprint, Slide Cancelling, Field Upgrades, and Gunsmith will all be available - some of the professional scene's most criticised components of the current style of CoD.
Pro Players React To Tac Sprint And Slide Cancel coming to Call of Duty Vanguard
Following the news, many of the elite CDL players expressed their disappointment, in a somewhat cryptic fashion.
Former world champions Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat and Patrick "Aches" Price replied to tweets with gifs of alcohol pouring and powdered hands (to stop sweat) respectively, in regards to Slide Cancelling being back.
Rampant submachine gun trio of Dylan "Envoy" Hannon, Tobias "CleanX" Juul Jønsson, and Chris "Simp" Lehr all posted likeminded messages, with the latter simply saying "Pls no tac sprint".
With Scump's future in the balance, former Subliners player Chance "Maux" Moncivaez also joked that he was retiring, thanks to the implementation of the features.
Whether the leaks will come to fruition is yet to be known, although the same leaker posted videos prior to the Modern Warfare era, all of which were rather accurate.
Either way, let's hope Sledgehammer Games are working closely with the professional community to improve the quality of Call of Duty esports.
