Call Of Duty Knife Kill Is Called The 'Luckiest Ever'
Even though luck plays into modern video games, there's no escaping the jaw-dropping moment someone lands that big kill seemingly by accident. This time, we've been left speechless by a Call of Duty knife kill that would have even Jordan "HusKerrs" Thomas asking how it's done.
Trying out the fan-favourite Gun Game mode means the final kill must be done with a throwing knife. While this is nothing new, we've seen players come up with increasingly imaginative ways to land that final kill.
This time, redditor u/TruceBrian showed off this amazing feat and how they made the knife kill by complete accident. Bravo sir, bravo. Sharing the clip on Reddit, they are seen throwing the knife up in the air and rounding the corner into the firing line of their enemy. It's touch and go as TruceBrian's opponent gets the upper hand, but as if by some act fo God, the enemy is taken out by the falling knife.
Explaining how they pulled this off without being killed by the other player, TruceBrian went on to explain it was a custom match with bots. Had this been an actual game against another human being, it's unclear whether the Call of Duty knife kill would've even worked or TruceBrian would've been sent packing to the Gulag. Unfortunately, the fact it was a custom match also means TruceBrian wasn't awarded the Mastery Challenge for his knife-throwing skills.
Some have suggested the kill might not be as amazing as first thought, claiming that TruceBrian probably filmed it multiple times before managing to capture that golden shot. Others think there must be some sort of aim assist or magnetic effect on the knife to be able to pull off the kill. Videos like this are popping up more and more, meaning there could be something else at work here. Either way, we've got to admit, we're pretty impressed.
There's no knack when it comes to a crazy Call of Duty knife kills, however, one Redditor explained how they simply throw a knife or grenade in the direction of other players as soon as they spawn - often securing similarly ridiculous kills. The question is, can you pull off a trick similar to TruceBrian, toss a knife into the air, and land a clean kill? Whether it's sheer dumb luck or something more, at least this Call of Duty knife kill was an entertaining watch.
