One Warzone player has had the misfortune, or pleasure, of finding a scary bug which turned their operator into a mangled mess of limbs - rather fittingly, as Halloween rounds the corner.

What Is The Creepy Glitch In Warzone?

Spooky season is here in Call of Duty: Warzone thanks to The Haunting of Verdansk, camping losing its viability (the terror), and even the new Ghostface and Donnie Darko skins, but the spooks don’t stop there.

Twitter user chizel3d found an equally hilarious and horrific glitch that mangled his operator's body to the point that it would fit right in at Silent Hill. The player was trying the new Ghosts of Verdansk event and was in the middle of parachuting toward the hospital, but as they went to land, everything changed.

Their operator's body curled backward into itself, while the arms contorted and fell down by their side. The operator also continued to levitate slightly above the ground. While chizel3d could still move around freely acquiring loot, their operator continued levitating above the ground and couldn’t pick up or shoot any weapons.

They did manage to return their view to normal, by interacting with a ladder, allowing them to continue the game in first-person. We are unaware if the issue is widespread or just a one-off scare. Raven is yet to comment on the glitch, probably because they’re too scared to investigate the scary sight.

What Are People Saying About The Glitch?

Responses were fairly mixed on Twitter. One user found the humour in it, replying: “genuinely laughing at this... what the actual hell” while another user aptly responded: “Wtf is [this] cursed sh*t?” Another keen-eyed user made a connection with one of Disney’s famous monsters, commenting: “Running like mike wazowski,” which, for our younger audience, is the one-eyed green character from Monsters Inc.

This isn’t the first weird glitch uncovered in Warzone, as earlier this month, another player discovered a bug that turned their head into a literal gun. Funnily enough, that bug happened under similar circumstances, with the player landing from a parachute. Maybe there is some connection? Though, only Raven can know for sure.
