Call Of Duty: Warzone Glitch Allows Players To Hide Under The Prison
Call of Duty: Warzone apparently has a game-breaking glitch that allows players to hide under the Prison and remain invisible to their rivals. Is anyone else getting some Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage in The Rock vibes? This reverse Prison Break sees sneaky gamers phase beneath the Prison and take out opponents without the fear of being gunned down themselves.
While Warzone has taken the fan-favourite mechanics of Modern Warfare and cashed in on the boom in battle royale games, that doesn't mean it's come without its problems. As well as a bizarre "snake glitch" where players seemed to wiggles across the floor, others were exploiting the ability to fly around the map with speeds even Superman would be jealous of.
Posting on Reddit, u/Webman2000 showed footage of this hack alongside the caption, "This has to end.. how do you find this fun?". The video included the doomed player unknowingly searching a room and being taken out from below. It looks like a texture issue - which isn't that surprising given the amount of complaints Warzone gets.
The clip didn't go down well among Warzone's fanbase. One angry player wrote, "I just don’t know how guys like this find that fun? I recently lost a game the other night to an aimbot and it’s infuriating. I would like to know when we report these guys for cheating that action is actually taken against these a**holes". Another grumbled, "Dumbest sh*t in the world. And they think it’s hilarious".
This isn't the first time the glitch has been shown off, and while we won't tell you how to do it here, a search in some places might reveal how it's done. Until Infinity Ward manages to do something about it, it doesn't look like there's a lot you can do. This means you're at the mercy of other people's moral compass.
The Prison is a highlight of the Verdansk map and is often jam-packed with players, loot, and contracts. Considering this latest reveal, you might want to stay away for a while. We also wouldn't advise trying the glitch for yourself because there could be some serious repercussions.
