The Call of Duty community often contributes towards the game in more ways than merely playing. When it comes to the Call of Duty League (CDL), the most devout fans go above and beyond to contribute to the spectacles and regularly create stunning graphics. Many skins and weapon camos have been created by the community in the past which have been implemented into the game, allowing for players all over the world to sport their favourite artists' designs.

One prominent designer in the COD community is vLionMan who recurrently produces in-depth statistics and jaw-dropping compositions of the game.

Ahead of the Black Ops Cold War era, vLionMan has already begun to create weapon camos for the 12 CDL teams, akin to those that became available within Modern Warfare. After making similar models last year, they were quickly dubbed by the fanbase to be much nicer than the camos that were released in the team bundles. This year, he's jumped back on photoshop, smearing class and quality all over the XM4.

As of writing, vLionMan has created 6 camouflages, representing Atlanta FaZe, Chicago Huntsmen, Florida Mutineers, Minnesota Rokkr, OpTic Gaming Los Angeles, and Seattle Surge, which leaves half of the teams left to do.

The artist also uploads time-lapses of the designing process, showing just how he embeds the logos and team colours on the weapon to leave one stunning team decal.

Activision released one bundle of skins per team during the Modern Warfare era, which consisted of one weapon camo, spray, calling card, and operator outfit per team, for the price of £8.99. Many CDL fans opted to support their favourite team or bundle in-game, with the proceeds being split between the teams and the developers.

Going into the 2021 season, Infinity Ward will likely implement team designs again, which could include the designs by vLionMan. With hope, we could be darting around Moscow in style, starting rivalries with other teams fans and ramping up interest in the league before its inception.
