Destiny 2's Exotic Fusion rifle, Jotunn, is hugely popular in the community, not just for its dense Solar damage, but also because of its clunky body shape. The gun which is renowned for its incinerating heat is often referred to as a "toaster", with its main core resembling the shape of the common bread burner.

Now, after a year of teasing, the developers have now created an officially Jotunn toaster, and it's the best thing since, erm, sliced bread.

Bungie Create Destiny 2 Jotunn Toaster

The Jotunn toaster comes with a cleaner black design than its weapon actually boasts, although it still packs just as much heat.

Despite the usual function of torching bread, the Jotunn toaster also creates a Destiny Tricorn logo imprint on your buttered breakfast.

Why did Bungie Create a Destiny 2 Jotunn Toaster?

With the 'toaster' Jotunn being an ongoing meme, the developers insisted that if the community could raise $777,777.77 for the Gaming Community Expo's support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, then it will look at creating a real-life toaster to be sold with a charitable donation.

Ahead of GCX's annual fundraiser, Bungie has now unveiled the toaster, with 10% of the profits being donated.

Alongside the toaster, the developers have also released a sandwich holder in the bundle, and some in-game customisation features such as a "Burnt Edges" Emblem.

The price for the toaster comes at a steep $85, although $8.50 of that will go straight to the Children's Hospital.
