Best Zombies Weapons
During the time of the Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games eras, there often remains a zombie shaped hole in the hearts of Call of Duty fans. After first releasing Nacht Der Untoten in COD: 4, legend has it that players have yet to get a full nights sleep, with the twinkle of the random box causing either nightmares or longing dreams waiting for its return. But, as the soundless thoughts are slashed with the menacing laugh of Samantha's teddy bear, Treyarch will often come in to save the day, with a brand new experience that allows you to slay the undead away.
Die Maschine is Treyarch's latest installation, coming in Black Ops Cold War and returning to the Aether storyline, although it's getting pretty dark.
With waves of zombies set to fly at you, your choice of arsenal is quite key to your success. So, what are the best Zombies weapons in Black Ops Cold War?
Best Cold War Zombies Weapons
#5 - M16
- Muzzle - SOCOM Eliminator
- Barrel - 16" Rapid Fire
- Underbarrel - Field Agent foregrip
- Magazine - SALVO 54 Round Fast Mag
- Stock - Raider Pad
Starting off the list is the M16. The burst fire gun holds a deadly rain of bullets that will decimate hoards in a heartbeat. Starting off, the three-round burst is great for low levels, typically killing a zombie in a burst. Lining up a wave will benefit you the most here.
At higher rounds, the M16 can be pack-a-punched to a 6-round burst with 72 rounds, a formidable combination.
#4 - Gallo SA12
- Muzzle - Flash Cone 12 GA
- Barrel - 21.4" Reinforced Heavy
- Body - Ember Sighting Point
- Magazine - STANAG 12 Round Tube
- Stock - Wire Stock
Able to be equipped or picked up as loot from the crash site near Juggernog, the Gallo SA12 is a weapon that you wouldn't expect to perform at the highest of levels. It's very rare that a wall weapon will be in the top five guns, but this shotgun definitely is. Its power is unrivalled from any normal weapon, and doesn't take too much skill to use. Combine this with a Napalm mod and the Ring of Fire Field Upgrade, and you'll be happy as can be.

It may seem bizarre to drop weapons in a climate where zombies limbs are the most dangerous weapons, but getting up close and personal with a knife in Die Maschine is very effective. Equipping a knife will allow one-slice kills until round 14, where you will be more than ready to pack-a-punch, making it deadly for all rounds. Upgrading at round 10 will be best, but make sure to have a second weapon to fight off the boss. Knifing also gives bonus points, so having this equipped form the start is a no-brainer.
#2 - Ray Gun

The obvious choice for our list is the Ray Gun. Although it got nerfed shortly after release, the famous zombie slayer is still a top-tier weapon and will give you the best chance of making high rounds. Dealing incredible amounts of splash damage, picking this out of the random box will have Dr Richtofen shaking at the knees. A Call of Duty: Zombies must-have.

Exclusive to Black Ops Cold War, this year's wonder-weapon is the most powerful we have seen yet. It can be found by completing an easter egg or by finding it within the random box, but only one shall wield its power. With this weapon, you will be almost untouchable, and you never have to fear about running out of ammo as it has the ability to replenish its shocks through the brains of zombies. Combined with the Ray Gun (rather than a knife) the DIE Shockwave can only lead to one thing... the death of the dead.

- Field Upgrade - Ring of Fire
- Tactical - Cymbal Monkey
- Lethal - Molotov
This combination will likely give you the best chance of survival, or the longest time of evading death depending on your playstyle.
