The Best M16 Warzone Loadout Attachments
The Tactical Rifles that were so overpowering in the birthing of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War are slowly taking turns sharing the throne in Warzone. Following the DMR and Type 63 meta that had everyone going bald from ripping their hair out, the AUG and M16 are battling it out for the crown.
Whilst the AUG is more of an all-rounder, the M16 is great at long range, often outgunning a sniper.
To get the most out of your rifle, you'll want this blend of M16 Warzone loadout attachments to ensure that you're optimising its distance effectivity whilst retaining most of its speed. Finding the right balance is key, and we have you covered.
BEST M16 WARZONE LOADOUT ATTACHMENTS
Distance and accuracy is vital, although many attachments have an adverse effect on speed, so you'll want to opt for buffs that aren't met with a nasty nerf.
- Muzzle - Agency Suppressor
- Barrel - 20.5" Task Force
- Underbarrel - Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition - 45 RND Speed Mag
- Optic - Visiontech 2x
The M16 has very similar attachments that work on most long-range weapons. The Field Agent Grip and Agency Suppressor are essentials, keeping the weapon accurate whilst making sure you're next screaming from the rooftops.
Here we opt for the 20.5" Task Force barrel, which increases the effective damage range whilst having few adverse effects. Optimising the range will be most beneficial as you'll likely be running a sub as a secondary for when it gets frantic. More aggressive players may fancy an increase in bullet velocity, though.
The ADS time takes a huge hit with the larger magazines, so choosing the 45 Round Mag will be best. With good accuracy, 45 is an ample amount of bullets to chop a whole quad down, especially when it's likely three bursts will do the job.
BEST M16 WARZONE LOADOUT PERKS
For the M16, you'll need a change of pace, especially in the latter stages of games.
- Secondary - SMG/FFAR
- Perk 1 - EOD
- Perk 2 - Overkill
- Perk 3 - Amped
- Lethal - Semtex
- Tactical - Stun Grenade
An SMG or the FFAR Assault Rifle will do the job nicely, although the FFAR runs the same ammo type, so you'll need to be precise and efficient with how you attack.
Amped and Overkill come in as the dynamic duo again, whilst EOD is favoured to Double Time to better equip you for holding buildings and taking advantage of pesky campers.
Out of your bag of tricks, you'll best be running a Stun and Semtex combination in your M16 Warzone loadout, unless you're setting up a tent and fancy a claymore to ward off any wildebeest looking for a free snack.
