In the past, players have received very average looking free cosmetics during Christmas, so this cosmetic is a welcome addition for all the players in Fortnite.

During the Marvel-themed Chapter 2 Season 4, Iron Man rifted a Black Panther monument onto the map, which made many players wonder if Black Panther would arrive on the island. As he didn’t come in that season, Epic Games paid respect to the superhero's fallen actor Chadwick Boseman by adding his cosmetic along with Captain Marvel and the Taskmaster cosmetic through a Marvel Royalty pack.
