What Is The Best FFAR Warzone Loadout In Season 3?
Treyarch is seldom disappointing, and this weapon is one of the most exciting Assault Rifles that they have added to Black Ops Cold War. The FFAR is the FAMAS reincarnated and in its finest form. Ditching the three-round burst that the FAMAS was stuck within Modern Warfare, the FFAR will see the beloved weapon head back to its glory days, and you better believe this will be the gun of the year. In order to cause havoc, here are the best FFAR-1 class & attachments in Warzone Season 3.
HAS THE FFAR BEEN NERFED IN SEASON 3?
Heading into Season 3, Raven Software teamed with Treyarch to bring a range of balances to all of the Black Ops Cold War Assault Rifles, including the FFAR. Insisting that the changes to the FFAR will keep it as a "respectable option", it should now be a playstyle preference rather than a loadout necessity. Admitting it was previously "so ruthlessly efficient that it pushes the entirety of a weapon category out of viability", the developers did nerf the FFAR slightly.
- Maximum damage decreased from 30 to 27
- Maximum damage range decreased by 15%
- Neck damage multiplier changed from 1.1 to 1
- Upper torso damage multiplier changed from 1.1 to 1
- ADS speed decreased slightly
However, the FFAR now suits a specific stylistic, rather than being an all-around dominus. It still out-guns most SMGs.
BEST FFAR WARZONE LOADOUT
The FFAR is blessed with a deadly fire rate and excels in close combat. Deep behind enemy lines is where you will find the most success here, as long as you have plenty of mags in your pockets.
- Muzzle - Agency Suppressor
- Barrel - 21.2″ Ranger
- Stock - Raider Stock
- Underbarrel - Infiltrator Grip
- Ammunition - STANAG 50 Round
The 50 Round mag will make for a speedy reload so you can continue to obliterate opponents at breakneck speed, whilst the suppressor will keep you silent. The Raider Stock and Infiltrator Grip make for a quicker ADS speed, and the Ranger barrel will increase its range too, making no opponent safe. The FFAR's nerf does reduce the range quite severely, meaning it is best to be used up-close and paired with something a little more deadly at longer distances.
- Secondary - Swiss K31 Sniper
- Perk 1 - Double Time
- Perk 2 - Overkill
- Perk 3 - Amped
- Lethal - Throwing Knife
- Tactical - Stun Grenade
Having a bit more mobility with Double Time and Amped will be vastly beneficial for the FFAR, making for quick kills. The throwing knife will help towards chaining kills without burning through ammunition, whilst a stun grenade will do wonders when it comes to catching players off-guard. Nobody will be able to match your movement speed with the FFAR Warzone Season 3 loadout.
