In recent Call of Duty news, Modern Warfare Season 4 Reloaded landed with an update for Multiplayer and Warzone, where Infinity Ward tried its best to shake up the weapon meta of both titles. The developers chose to nerf the two most dominant weapons, the MP5 and Grau 5.56, and buff other weapons in the same respective class.

While this didn’t exactly pan out the way Infinity Ward wanted, the buffed weapons are starting to receive some love. This includes the long-forgotten FAL assault rifle. A longtime weapon in Call of Duty, the FAL is considered one of the most overpowered weapons in both Modern Warfare and Warzone after the update. Here, we explore the best FAL Warzone Loadout and attachments to use on the weapon for aggressive and passive playstyles.

Best FAL Warzone Loadout and Attachments for a fast-paced FAL

Thanks to the latest update, the FAL has an insane amount of versatility. This comes in at the perfect time since Warzone is starting to become more SMG-based. The games are moving faster and players are becoming more and more aggressive. Using a fast-paced loadout is the easiest way to adapt to the meta and luckily, the FAL features some attachments to help with this. Here are the best attachments to use on the FAL if you want to play like an SMG player:

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: XRK Marksman
  • Optic: G.I. Mini Reflex
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Perk: Burst

With this loadout, you can make full use of the FAL’s new ability to one-burst enemies in Warzone. Thanks to the last update, this semi-auto rifle can one-burst enemies to the head at close range. Infinity Ward buffed the FAL to the point where if you can hit your shots, you will down an enemy in one fatal swoop. That explains the Burst Perk, but what about the rest of the loadout? Obviously, the Monolithic Suppressor is a no-brainer. The muzzle’s statistics are too strong to not feature in most classes. We also included a sight, being the mini-reflex, since we’ll be up close and personal with this loadout. Rounding out the attachments are the Commando Foregrip and XRK Marksman barrel. Both of these attachments allow for some extra damage and accuracy. This is the best FAL Warzone Loadout to make it better than an SMG.

Best FAL Warzone Loadout and Attachments for a long-range FAL

At the end of the day, the FAL is still an assault rifle. Traditionally, rifles are used at longer ranges to complement their accuracy and range. While you won’t be able to one-shot enemies to the head playing this way, you can still deal a ton of damage and are less likely to die. Here are the best long-range attachments to use on the FAL:

  • Barrel: XRK Marksman
  • Optic: Canted Hybrid
  • Stock: Forge TAC Stalker
  • Underbarrel: Operator Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 24-Round Mags

The only attachment we’ve carried over to this loadout is the XRK Marksman barrel. Its range and velocity buffs help at long-range more than most other attachments in the barrel category. The rest of the loadout is not carried over, however. We’ve included a more advanced scope in the Canted Hybrid and also added some extra rounds to the magazine. In terms of accuracy buffs, the Forge TAC Stalker helps with aiming stability and the Operator Foregrip greatly benefits your recoil control. Of course, we’re giving up some mobility but at long-range, that doesn’t matter as much. This is the best FAL Warzone Loadout to beam players across Verdansk.

How to use the new FAL in Warzone

The buff to the FAL is one of the most overpowered improvements we’ve seen in Warzone. The ability to one-tap an enemy at close ranges is an extremely useful trait and one that’s unique to the FAL. That said, you should try your best to take advantage of this new ability by playing a little more aggressively than you would normally. While you can still use the above long-range loadout, the new FAL really benefits from a fast-paced playstyle. Getting up in the enemy’s faces and aiming for the head will net you more kills than playing at a distance would.

Of course, this means you need to hit your shots when aiming for the head. In doing this, you’re more likely to miss than if you were aiming for the body. So, finding a correct balance of rushing and playing it safe is paramount if you want to stay alive. Once you find this middle-ground though, having a FAL in your hands is going to be deadly for an enemy that crosses you. Using the best FAL Warzone loadout and attachments will grant you usage of an extraordinarily monstrous weapon.
