Battlefield Games Are Being Given Away On Amazon Prime
It’s hard to gauge if Battlefield hype could be any higher right now. The reveal of Battlefield 2042 has sent fans into a frenzy, and for many, the game can’t come fast enough. It’s made so many fans reminisce about the good old days of Battlefield, too, that many have gone back to the old games to tide them over until the next-gen behemoth arrives later this year.
And, as it turns out, the team at Prime Gaming have been paying attention, as a couple of Battlefield’s most beloved titles have just been made free for a very short time.
Battlefield 1 And Battlefield V Are Free With Amazon Prime
As part of the scheme that offers free games to subscribers of Amazon Prime, Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V are joining the roster, completely for free, for a limited time. Battlefield 1 is ready to go right now and will be replaced by Battlefield V on August 2.
The games are available as codes for the gaming UI system Origin, which is run by EA and available for free download. This offer is sadly a PC exclusive, but hey - if you’ve got only a shoddy laptop at your disposal, you might as well give it a go - it is free after all.
The process for claiming the games is relatively easy, too.
How To Claim Battlefield 1 and Battlefield V For Free
All you have to do to bag your free copy of either game is head through this link to the Prime Gaming claim site, click through the steps and prove that you’re an Amazon Prime customer, and they’ll dish you out a code for Battlefield 1 (or Battlefield V from August 2 onwards) on Origin, which you can input on the Origin store’s system for redeeming codes. That’s it!
It’s an incredibly easy process paired with a no-brainer download. While it’s a PC exclusive deal, it’s one we’d struggle to resist. Still, at least it’ll stave off the desperation to dive into Battlefield 2042 for just a little while.
