It's finally here.

The reveal trailer for the new season of Apex Legends has landed, and after what feels like a rather short season that came packed with the reveal of new legend Seer, we've got our first look at the new content coming to the game. And there's a lot.

Here's everything that was revealed in the brand-new trailer, and what we can expect to come to the game in the upcoming Escape update.

New Legend: Ash

Perhaps the biggest announcement of the trailer was the reveal of the long-rumoured upcoming character - Ash, the vengeful Simulacrum who we first met in the Titanfall series.

The character is expected to launch with an ability that greatly increases damage in a large area, and her ultimate is thought to be quite similar to that of Wraith.

She will be voiced by Anna Campbell.

Ash's Abilities And Ultimate

Ash's passive ability is Marked For Death, which allows her to see death boxes on the map, and when interacting with them, she can locate the players that killed the victim if they're still alive.

Her tactical ability is an Arc Ball, a slow-moving ball of electricity that latches to a player if they get too close, stunning and damaging them.

Her ultimate is called Phase Breach, and data miners were right when they say it would cut Wraith's player count down. Ash opens and travels through a portal in a dash fashion, leaving a portal behind. She moves in a straight line, but she does it quickly enough to balance it out.

New Weapon: C.A.R SMG

One of the most beloved weapons from the Titanfall series has made its way to Apex Legends. The C.A.R SMG was notorious for its incredible power, and likely pending some balancing, it'll finally be joining the battle royale title.

The most interesting thing about this weapon is that it will allow players to use either light ammo OR heavy ammo, the first weapon in the game to alternate ammo types. It might guzzle rounds, but it can do some serious damage.

New Map: Storm Point

Finally. The new beach-set map, Storm Point, is finally coming to Apex this season - much to the delight of fans.

The map features forests, waterfalls, beaches, and caves, making for a luscious and exciting new map that we can't wait to take for a spin.

We know thanks to leaks that the map will feature Tridents, the vehicles that were previously available only on Olympus before, so there'll be easier modes of transportation across the map. There are also massive horizontal jump pads that can fire you across the landscape.

It also contains some hostile wildlife, like the Prowlers who we've met before on World's Edge, and the creepy giant spiders from the story trailer.

New Battle Pass

As ever, the new season is coming with its own battle pass, that will be landing in-game on November 2. There'll be plenty of loot to grab, but we'll just have to wait until launch day to find out what's in store.

That's all we know about Apex Legends' new season - it looks to be one of the game's biggest ever, and we can't wait to see the new map up close.
