Apex Legends Reveals Most Popular Character In Season 11

The pick rates of Apex Legends are all over the shop. It happens every time a new Legend lands - fans go nuts playing the new character to see if they're a good fit, and then a few weeks later, they'll drop off and sink into the masses of other characters cast to the wayside.

To Respawn Entertainment's credit, they've started doing a lot more to keep characters at the bottom of the pick rate pile from being entirely rejected. It started with the monster Apex Legends update for Rampart that vastly improved her usability, and now Wattson's on the operating table to boost her pick rate.

Alas, Wattson hasn't leapt to the top just yet - and we know this because the pick rate of each character has been revealed for Season 11. Safe to say, some of the results may surprise you.

Who Is Apex Legends Season 11's Most Popular Pick?

The pirates for Apex Legends Season 11 have been revealed by ApexLegendsStatus, and they're pretty interesting following the release of Ash as a new character.

Overall, the highest picked character is Octane with a 12.6% pick rate, followed closely by Wraith with 11.8%. This is interesting as Wraith has been popular for some time, but many expected that Ash's ultimate ability would make a lot of Wraith mains convert.

Ash actually comes in at position 6 with a 6.4% pick rate, tailing behind Valkyrie with 7.4%. It's fascinating that Ash has dropped off so quickly, especially behind Valkyrie - a character that was released a couple of seasons ago.

Most peculiar, though, is the revelation that Seer has now entered the bottom 3 of chosen Legends with a meagre 2.2% pick rate. The character's release last season clearly hasn't been enough to keep him popular, keeping the bottom of the pile warm with Rampart and Crypto.

What Legends Do The Apex Masters Use The Most?

These rankings are interesting, but they're quite different from those of Apex Masters, the highest-ranked players in the game. The best of the best favour Wraith above all else, coming in with a huge 23.1% pick rate - soaring out ahead of Octane 13.6%.

They're followed by Pathfinder and Valkyrie, with the least picked characters by the Apex pros being Seer, Rampart and Revenant, the latter of which has a tiny 0.6% pick rate. 

It's interesting to see how pick rates change from season to season, but it's still pretty unsurprising to see Crypto at the very bottom. Fear not, our sweet prince - your buff will come soon enough.
