Apex Legends' meta shifted from dartful wraith mains to "let's see who can make the biggest bang" with the latest rollout of new Legends. Valkyrie's problematic passion for pyrotechnics has proved a match against the barraging Bangalore, and the grievous Gibraltar, all of whom have blown the Fuse for many Apex Legends players.

Just as the dust had settled from Valkyrie's impactful introduction to Season 9: Legacy, the script has been obliterated for some players. A range of Apex Legends fanatics have reported that their accounts have been unjustly banned.

Why are Apex Legends Players Being Randomly Banned?

After deploying a small update to the title, including nerfs to the Bocek Bow and Spitfire, players were randomly facing bans on the platform. Over 250 people headed to the Steam Apex Legends forum to inform EA about their problems.

The developers could not provide a straightforward explanation as to why players were being banned, although they did offer some advice. EA Help agents Sue and Shay took to Twitter to inform players that "A lot of players have received the ban message today and our Apex team is currently investigating this," before advising "Please try closing the game and logging back in to see if you still have trouble."

Respawn Answer Back To The Bans

Shortly after the random bans began to surface, EA released a statement on Twitter, saying: "We’ve fixed the login issues some of you were having with Apex Legends - thanks for your reports," indicating that players should now be able to log in to the game without their accounts being lifted.

Players have still recorded that their accounts are still not able to access the game though. As the hotfix was implemented into the game, EA has also advised players to restart the game completely. Yes, the old on and off technique. Simple, yet effective.

After such a speedy response, players should now be able to rain hell upon their opponents from the skies, using Valkyrie's VTOL rockets. Ka-BOOM!
