Apex Legends Season 7: Ascension is just around the corner, and as always, so is a new Legend. Horizon will be joining the cast in November, and Dr Mary Somers has a familiar voice.

Horizon is slated to be a Legend whose abilities are based on astrophysics - think a lot of gravity-defying moves, plus some stuns and black holes thrown in for good measure.

The new Scottish character also has an emotional and traumatic backstory, check it out below. Tip - get the tissues ready for this one.

Who is the Apex Legends Horizon Voice Actor?

Elle Newlands is the voice behind Horizon - and many of your favourite video game characters too! The Scottish-born VA has been involved in everything from Star Wars: The Old Republic - Onslaught as Darth Savik, to bringing life to Grant in Halo 4, to providing additional voices for just about every franchise you can think of. Elle now resides in LA, and is also a singer/songwriter.
