Apex Legends Tease Skull Town Map For Arenas
Despite Apex Legends being just two years old, the popular battle royale has seen multiple generations of players come and go.
With an average concurrent player count of over 130,000 in the current climate, Respawn Entertainment are set to continue building upon their success, by returning a huge fan-favourite landing spot for the old-school generation.
Skull Town Teased For Apex Legends Arenas
Many current players may not remember the days when Skull Town was in its prime, as the POI has been ripped out of Kings Canyon as we know it.
However, Skull Town played host to the most fierce and fearsome Apex predators in the opening few months of its lifetime, often being the main battleground for every game. It wouldn't be uncommon to see half of the lobby shooting down towards the graveyard from the dropship, leaving the skies littered with red beams, replicating the blood trials on its floor.
Now, Respawn Entertainment has teased an Apex Legends Arenas Skull Town map could be coming to the game in an upcoming update.
When Will Skull Town Come To Apex Legends Arenas?
The current season of Apex Legends is set to end on August 3, where the tenth season is set to commence. With it being a more notable milestone in the BR's short lifespan, it would come as no surprise if Respawn pulled out all of the stops to spice up life in the Outlands.
Whilst it has yet to be confirmed, nor denied, Skull Town could come as an Apex Legends Arenas map as of Season 10.
This would see it join the cast alongside Artillery, Thermal Station, Golden Gardens, Party Crasher, and Phase Runner.
Skull Town's addition would certainly see many players return to the game, duking it out in the familiar, yet nostalgic, landmark.
