Apex Leak Hints At New World’s Edge Map Update
Though there aren’t many for fans to latch onto, Apex Legends’ maps get an awful lot of love from players. Few get the same love as World’s Edge, however, the map that was introduced in Season 3 has been one that fans look forward to dropping into despite its huge amount of changes over the seasons. Perhaps it’s the changes that keep fans entertained, injecting new themes, locations and obstacles to the map and keeping it fresh for long-time players and new ones alike.
Whoever’s playing World’s Edge, it hears few complaints - which is certainly good, as a new leak has suggested we’ll be seeing a lot more of it in the near future.

Leak Suggests World’s Edge Season 10 Update
July 6 saw the reveal of a big Apex leak by notorious data miner Kralrindo, as they posted a series of leaks they found regarding map updates in Season 10. Involved are a few memos from a character in the Apex universe called Bilal.
They warn that the activity of the harvester on World’s Edge is being increased in order to destroy evidence, and that a huge disaster could be on the way as a result. The memo details Bilal’s fear and disbelief that nobody is doing anything about it. “Whole world’s shaking”, he starts. “Finally got Hammond to run tests. Why is no one else freaking out? [...] They’re purging the evidence… Catastrophe’s coming… Harder to cover up when this planet cracks apart… I- I gotta get out of here…”
There is also a collection of sounds, as Kralrindo shares in a Twitter video that features rumbling, crumbling, alarms, and the harvester at work.
These leaks come with a few dates - indicating that ‘phase 1’ is coming on July 15, with ‘phase 2’ and ‘phase 3’ coming on July 18 and July 20 respectively after that. It seems that teasers might start then, and we’ll see the potential decimation of the planet come season 10.
The constant evolution of maps is what makes them so great in Apex Legends, and it’s what keeps them from growing stale. Knowing Respawn, this new change will be a big one - but we’re ready for it.
