Amouranth's House Reportedly Targeted With Arson After Fire Breaks Out
Popular Twitch streamer Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa is often in the limelight for causing a stir on the platform. Whether it be through rattling other streamers through strong opinions, or crossing the borderlines of Twitch's guidelines with Hot Tub streams, Amouranth has the knack for entertainment, although the drama that often follows has made her a target for internet trolls.
Despite being one of the more popular streamers on the platform, Amouranth is often met with many strange requests and messages on stream. However, the ASMR content creator has now had her offline life targeted, as a 'suspected arson attack' broke out at her house.
According to Amouranth, a fire had broken out next to her house, with police investigations pointing towards the reason behind the blaze being arson.
Taking to Twitter, Amouranth said: "Late in the evening there was a fire along the side of my home originating from the area where my trashcan is kept. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but investigators strongly suspect arson,
"They are reviewing surveillance footage, neighbours surveillance footage and possibly other videos adjacent to the area to try and catch the potential suspect."
The streamer also added that this isn't the first time her personal life has been attacked. Amouranth continued to suggest like-minded people should get a password/safeword set up with the emergency services after she was hit with multiple fake "swattings" in 2020. A person even used the ruse of July 4 to shoot a firework at the streamer's house.
Amouranth isn't the only high-profile streamer to be targeted away from the screens. Recently, Felix "xQc" and his former partner "Adept" were forced to move out of their apartments following the same swatting reports.
Fortunately, Amouranth was unharmed in the fire, which was contained. She also added that her "fur babies are all okay too."
