We're all for trying out new games here, and when it comes to InnerSloth's Among Us, there's a unique premise that could see it go far. If you haven't heard about Among Us yet, you're probably about to. Considering there's a development team of just three, it's crazy to see Among Us rocket up Twitch and cause quite a stir on the way.

Also, don't forget to check out our guide on all of the Among Us Characters

Effectively Cluedo in space, the aim of the game is deception and murder. Between four and 10 players are cast into the depths of space and challenged with finding the traitor (or traitors) among them. The home team has to work to make the spaceship operational, while the enemy side has to mess with the systems and kill off genuine crewmates one by one. No one likes being accused of lying, so things can get pretty tense, pretty quick.

The title has had an astronomical rise and peaked with 400,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch across a number of channels. With it's growing popularity, Among Us has become something of a Monopoly in terms of causing rifts. Now, beloved streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel has lost his temper and royally thrown his toys out of the pram. When xQc joined a number of other popular streamers including  HasanAbi and ItsSliker, things soon descended into chaos.

There was an argument between HasanAbi and xQc, with xQc’s followers heading over to Hasan’s Twitch and claiming he threw the match. They also went on to call him an "emotional player". You can see it all kick off here, but be warned, there's some NSFW language

HasanAbi also wasn't impressed as he told viewers, "You bunch of f*****g 12-year-old babies are gonna frustrate me? Get the f*** out of here, you dumbf****".

The drama led to Sliker leaving the game and xQc saying lobbies work better when players can deal with the aggression and yelling of other players. Later on, xQc popped in on Sliker to check if they were angry at the situation. Sliker simply said they were tired and needed to get some rest.

Although Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is still holding onto the Twitch crown, Among Us is making waves as the next potentially massive party game. This shows just how much power streamers can have and the way they can ultimately make or break a game. Look at how Fall Guys boomed in popularity thanks to DrLupo and TimTheTatMan bringing it to the mainstream. If all these Among Us arguments continue, watching a stream could give more entertainment than your average episode of EastEnders
