Last-hitting, kiting, dodging, and hitting skillshots are fundamental skills in every League of Legends players' tool kit. The better you are at them, the more success you will be able to find in your games. Improving at them at the same time while playing the game can be less efficient than honing your skill in one particular regard, so while you can just play more to get better, there may be more effective ways to improve.

When thinking of traditional sports, it's seldom the case that you are looking to improve by simply playing the game. Instead, specific tasks are isolated and then drilled to focus practice on the weak aspects of one's game.

Moreover, improving while sitting in long queues also sounds like a much more effective use of your time, doesn't it? Exactly that and more is possible with the mini-games that developer swompy has created. In five different modes ranging from practising skill shooting, to even doing the iconic Lee Sin move by Choi "inSec" In-seok, the German developer's browser-based drills help you improve. Moreover, swompy has recently added a desktop version via Overwolf, which is also ready for download here. The benefit of the Overwolf version lies in the ability to play it on top of your League client if you're for example in a long loading screen and you want to warm up for the match. According to a Reddit comment by swompy more is coming soon, with multiplayer already in the works.

All game modes come in several difficulty settings to adjust to all kinds of different skill levels, including a ranked mode with a leaderboard. Moreover, the world record holder is highlighted on the website

Perhaps one more benefit is that you can play these mini-games from almost everywhere. Have five minutes to burn at a school library computer? Psst...we won't tell anyone!
