Call of Duty: Warzone’s operators have been doing the game pretty well. Without stretching to the obscene heights of Fortnite’s huge array of skins, Call of Duty has managed to pull out some themed cosmetics that don’t break the immersion of the game, but also don’t stray too far into seriousness either.

With every new season, there’s of course some new cosmetics to bag - and season six is no different. Especially as a new teaser trailer has hinted at the arrival of a franchise favourite.

Alex Mason Could Be Coming To Warzone And Cold War

Oh, yes. Though it hasn’t been exactly confirmed that a new operator/ skin is coming, a new teaser trailer for the climax of season six for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone returns to the interrogation room from Black Ops, and sees Alex Mason on the other side of the chair as Adler is interrogated.

The trailer also sees destruction in Verdansk as explosions tear across the landscape, implying that even more changes are coming to the location before Vanguard takes over with its new map. But Alex Mason is certainly getting his time in the spotlight.

Alex Mason Is The Poster Boy For Warzone Season Six

The poster for the sixth season of Warzone and Black Ops Cold War puts Alex Mason front and centre, reaching out to the viewer. This means good things for the long-standing rumours that he’d come to the game, proving that he’s going to be a big part of the upcoming season.

This has been a long time coming, and especially as Cold War proudly wears the Black Ops moniker, it was only a matter of time before the original game’s protagonist made his arrival in the game.

This is news that is going to be a treat for long-time fans of the series, and the die-hard Call of Duty buffs. Frankly, it’s about time.
