The surprise of Halo Infinite's multiplayer was heralded by last-minute leaks, but still, until the announcement was officially revealed, it seemed too good to be true. But, as players have finally got their hands on the beta, it's true - the long-awaited shooter is finally here ahead of time, and fans are loving it. Well, apart from the Halo Infinite battle pass.

Fans have one major complaint about Halo Infinite, and it all comes down to the battle pass. Its structure is completely fine, but many feel that progress is much too slow. And it looks like 343 Industries is listening to fans, as they've pledged to do something about it.

Halo Infinite Battle Pass: What Has 343 Said?

Following the slight backlash the company has received over the slow movement of the Halo Infinite battle pass, Halo Infinite's developer team 343 Industries has agreed to have another crack at the pass to make it easier to level up.

Yesterday, the company's community director Brian Jarrard took to Twitter to thank the fans for the great response to the freshly launched multiplayer, and to assure them that the team is looking into the slow battle pass progression that many have reported is deeply unsatisfying.

"Thank you to everyone who has jumped into the #HaloInfinite beta so far!" he says. "FYI the team is looking at Battle Pass progression and gathering data from yesterday's sessions and we'll share updates as we have them. Please continue to share feedback and raise flags as you see them."

So, it looks like the Halo Infinite battle pass is next on the team's agenda, because frankly - fans don't have many other complaints. And as a result, some are furious about this one missed opportunity.

Halo Infinite Battle Pass: Why Are Players Divided?

Seemingly because there's so little else to moan about when it comes to Halo Infinite's multiplayer, fans are seething that the battle pass is so tough to crack.

But, it's nice that this is the only thing fans have to complain about, with others being grateful that the rest of the game is of such quality, especially as it's free-to-play.

Halo Infinite might still have some tidying up to do, but so far, it looks like it's a great success for fans of the franchise everywhere. This is a welcome sign, and if the campaign of the game can keep this level of polish and quality up, this could be Halo's finest hour of the last decade. We can only hope.
