100 Thieves' business approach has seen esports apparel begin to become somewhat of a cultural norm, having moved on from the regular team jerseys to everyday kit, like hoodies, shorts, and caps.

However, in a bid to take over the merchandise space with an ever-lasting range of clothing, 100 Thieves fans have been left stunned at the exuberant prices.

Releasing their brand-new range labelled 'foundations', 100T founder Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag hoped that "there is something here for everyone".

But, with a struggle for people to spend less than $100 after shipping and taxes, much of the fan base has been left rather bewildered, the complete opposite goal for what the company set out to achieve.

100 Thieves Foundations' Prices Anger Fans

For their Los Angeles-based consumers, $90 for a hoodie may not seem too bad of a coup, after all, the product is high end and as comfy as "getting a hug from your guardian angel", according to Nadeshot.

However, for anyone who needs their product carting overseas, the problems begin to ramp up.

International expedited shipping sits at $25, plus a similarly hefty fee for 'taxes', sees a hoodie rocket from a standard $90 to just shy of $140. If you'd planned to match this with the joggers or T-shirt, you're soon closing in on $200 - expendable cash that many do not have.

Taking to Twitter, some 100 Thieves fans expressed their concerns for the prices, with one joking that for $135 they'd expect it to be hand-delivered by co-owner Rachel "Valkyrae" Hofstetter.

Despite some concerns over the pricing, the Foundations drop has been a success for the Thieves.

With a range of high-performance gear up for grabs, one fan even spent $1,200 on the range, stealing the Thieve's entire collection.

Others were vocal about pairing the red anorak with the nylon joggers, representing the organisation in a flashy fashion.

Nadeshot did add that future updates to the store will allow for more inclusion, as he wants to see something 100 Thieves-related be sported by esports fans across the globe.
