Click to enlargeThe EX1 Assault Rifle is unlike any gun we've seen in Warzone. With no attachments, this prototype weapon has a nearly maxed-out fire rate, accuracy, and control. However, the main draw of the EX1 is its insane level of customisation. Thanks to the variety of unique attachments the EX1 offers, you can modify it to a level most Warzone guns aren't capable of. With the right setup, the EX1 energy rifle can function as an Assault Rifle, SMG, DMR, or even a Sniper. With that, the best loadout and attachments depend entirely on what niche you want the EX1 to fill.

This particular Warzone EX1 loadout takes advantage of the Charge Sniper Conversion attachment, the Charge Amp PV Barrel. The Charge Amp PV Barrel turns the EX1 into a deadly Sniper Rifle that shoots literal lasers. While select attachments will allow users to wield the EX1 like a DMR, Assault Rifle, or SMG, the Charge Sniper Conversion variation of the EX1 is the most popular and effective in Warzone.
Tacking on attachments like the AC-Titanium Anchor Stock, Carver Foregrip Underbarrel, and Taped Grip, recoil on the EX1 is almost nonexistent. Then, with the Magnified Relay Muzzle and the PWN Quick Current Battery, you'll be able to pick at enemies from a distance in rapid succession.

Best Warzone EX1 Loadout: Perks And Equipment
Click to enlargeRaven Software announced in the Season 5: Last Stand patch notes that another Warzone Serpentine Perk nerf is coming later in the season. When that happens, it might finally put the nail in the Serpentine coffin, but until then, Serpentine is too strong of a Perk to ignore.
While you can design the EX1 Assault Rifle to excel at close to medium range, the loadout listed above is built around the open-air encounters common around Caldera. So, if you plan on taking this loadout out into the streets and tight hallways of Rebirth Island, you may want to use Overkill so that you can pair it with one of the Warzone best SMGs. Of course, if you do that, you'll also want to throw on Amped so that you can rapidly swap between the SMG and the EX1 depending on the range of the engagement.
When it comes to equipment, it's hard to go wrong with a Stim Shot and a Semtex. Stims allow the user to manoeuvre around at enhanced speeds, plus serve as a form of on-the-go healing. As for Semtexs, they're probably the easiest-to-use Lethal in Warzone and generally a great tool for finishing off enemies or forcing them out of cover.
