Palia 0.168 update patch notes, from The Temple of the Flames, Tau friendship & more
After the success of the Maji Market event, the new Palia 0.168 update has dropped and along with it, a list of patch notes.
Included are some major Palia updates like new quests, friendship with everyone's favourite pooch pal, Tau and the new Temple of the Flames area.

Palia 0.168 update: The Temple of the Flames
Click to enlargeAs per the new Palia patch, the Temple of the Flames is a new explorable area and comes with two brand new story quests involving the ancient humans and relics of the past.
To begin the quest and explore the temple, simply follow the directions within Hassian's letter in the mail.
You'll need to have completed the previous temple (the Vault of Waves) beforehand. Doing so and completing each temple bundle will result in the Ancient Rock Garden reward.
Once you place the Ancient Rock Garden on your household lot, a Kitsuu will appear and leave you a gift, each day at 9 PM PT (4 AM UTC).

Palia 0.168 update: Emberborn furniture set
Click to enlargeThe Emberborn furniture set will also appear in the Palia 0.168 update. The set is flame-inspired and contains the following pieces:
- Emberborn Brazier
- Emberborn Nightstand
- Emberborn Bed
- Emberborn Hanging Lamp
- Emberborn Standing Lamp
- Emberborn Stool
- Emberborn Dining Table
- Emberborn Table Lamp
Palia 0.168 update: New crops & dishes
Click to enlargeAs per the Palia 0.168 update, two new crops will be added to the game. These are:
- Corn – purchased from Zeki for 30 Gold each.
- Spicy Pepper – Costs 170 Gold from Zeki's General Store and requires gardening level six
Along with the new crops, a substantial ten new cooking recipes have been added to the game. These can be found by exploring the maps or by purchasing them from Reth's store.

Palia 0.168 update: Tau Friendship Quests
Click to enlargeTau is now available to speak with and befriend. As part of his new friendship quests, you have the chance to earn a Tau plushie at friendship level four.
Palia 0.168 update: Workbench update
Click to enlargeAs a much-needed quality-of-life adjustment, you will now be able to craft multiple items at a Workbench. This is particularly helpful for crafting multiple sets of tools like arrows and Bug Bombs. Now you can multiply the amount of resources you wish to craft up to 99.
Palia 0.168 update: Other adjustments
Click to enlargeOther than the usual bug fixes (which are listed via the official patch notes blog) there have been additional clothing items added to the premium shop. These are:
- The Ballroom Bundle
- The Disciple Bundle
- The Cadet Bundle
