Lost Ark Pet Ranch: Everything You Need to Know
The Lost Ark Pet Ranch is a brand-new addition to the Stronghold courtesy of the Under the Arkesian Sun update, which has added a tonne of new content like Event Guardians, the Maharaka Festival, and a slew of cosmetics. Pets are a massive part of any MMO, and Lost Ark is no different, with the game now allowing you to specialise them further by levelling them up and earning them skills. Lost Ark Pet Ranch
Click to enlargeThe Lost Ark Pet Ranch is a new location that has been added to the Stronghold, where players can level up their pets to become more useful while also earning unique rewards. This update adds the Ranch and the Cookie Workshop, which have different uses for you and your pets. To unlock these, you will need to have reached Stronghold level 15, and unlocked the Farm, Cave, and have a pet. This then unlocks the Yay, Pet Ranch that can be started with your Butler.
In the Ranch, pets can relax and play with other pets you may have, which earns them Morale. In the Cookie Workshop, pets can be put to work to make Jam Cookies, which earn them Pet Expertise and allows them to level up. Jam Cookies can also be exchanged at the Cookie Vendor for rewards, such as Pet Growth Tokens. However, when a pet spends time working, they lose morale, so it's important to balance out both so you can earn rewards while also having a happy pet.
Through use of the Pet Ranch, they can eventually be upgraded to Legendary by reaching max Expertise and spending Pet Growth Tokens. Legendary pets are granted a random skill, and at random points during combat, one of three effects from the skill they acquire are granted to the pet. There are six different skills that pets can earn, which are:

The Jam Cookie Vendor is another big part of this update due to the wares that they offer, ranging from pet cosmetics, to weekly rewards like Card Packs, Phoenix Plumes, and more. Here are some of the main items they offer:

Vitameow - A consumable vitamin that gives vitality to Pets, recovering 10% of a Pet’s Morale.

Arcane Battery - A battery booster created by the Nebelhorn Lab in Arthentine. When a booster is applied, 3 extra Jam cookies will be produced every 10mins in the Cookie Workshop.

Pet Expertise Potion - A potion created by the Vern Magick Society to increase Pet Expertise.

Pet Customization Potion - A morph potion for Pets, which can be used on Legendary Pets to unlock the reskin feature.

Pet Growth Token - A mysterious enchanted token produced by the Vern Magick Society, used when upgrading Pets.
