What are SHADOW Briefings in Fortnite & where can you find them?
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 has introduced all sorts of content to Fortnite, but one of the most mysterious new features is the SHADOW Briefings.
While you may have never heard of SHADOW Briefings before, you'll soon learn that they're quite similar to the game's long-lost Bounty Boards and Job Boards. So, without further ado, let's dive into how they work.
What are SHADOW Briefings?
Click to enlargeSHADOW Briefings are Chapter 5 Season 2's take on Job Boards, and there are four kinds to discover:
- Plunder
- Bounty
- Supply Drop
- Vehicle
Approach a SHADOW Briefing, interact with it, and choose to accept to receive an assignment. Each type offers a different task in theme with the kind of SHADOW Briefing it is.
For example, the Plunder type will ask that you find and dig up two buried Rare Chests nearby, while the Vehicle type will rift in a vehicle, and you'll have to travel 500 metres in it before time runs out.
Where to find SHADOW Briefings
Click to enlargeYou can find SHADOW Briefings across the Island. Almost every Point of Interest (POI) houses at least one of these new Job Boards, and they're available at plenty of Landmarks, too.
Classy Courts, Reckless Railways, Restored Reels, and Fencing Fields, as well as the areas surrounding these POIs, are some of the top spots to find SHADOW Briefings.
