In Fire Emblem Engage, Advanced classes are the best way to improve your base units. Engage has a lot of Advanced classes to unlock, so you have many options to choose from. Let's take a look at what these Advanced classes are and why you should unlock them.

Fire Emblem Engage Advanced Classes: What Are They?

Advanced classes are a way to upgrade your units in battle. If you have a Master Seal and the right requirements, you can level up a unit into a new class better than their old one.

For example, a Sword Fighter can become a Swordmaster if they're level 10 and you have a Master Seal in your inventory. Some units start as an Advanced class, such as Vander who starts as a Paladin, but most don't.

Some classes require you to have proficiency in a certain weapon type before you can upgrade. You'll have to use Bond Rings and grow your bond with certain characters in them to get new weapon proficiency. You can do this in the Arena in the Somniel once you unlock it.
